All of our gymnastic staff are licensed and qualified British Gymnastic coaches.
Our courses are fully affiliated to British Gymnastics, which gives you peace of mind that your child is receiving the best coaching available.
Ideal for 4 - 11 year olds of any ability, The Sovereign Centre offers an extensive course programme for gymnastics! This is the perfect introduction to gymnastics, in a fun filled environment!
Courses run during term time and are seperated firstly by age group and then by ability. The age groups are 4 - 7 years and 8 yrs +
Beginners GymnasticsBeginners gymnastics is a great introduction to gymnastics, with children working towards their first B.A.G.A. awards. It is a fun filled session for children aged four and upwards with the emphasis on balance and co-ordination and incorporating basic balance and floor work. This will give them a good start and will enable them to have the skills to progress to the next level.

Intermediate GymnasticsThis class builds on the skills learned in the beginner’s class, children work towards the remaining B.A.G.A. awards and incorporates more advanced skills. The minimum age for these sessions is 6 years old.
Advanced GymnasticsThis class is for advanced gymnasts who are invited by our coaches to join the session. Children must be at least 6 years old in order to participate in these sessions.
Leotards are preferred for girls but are not essential, legs must not be covered (no leggings or tracksuit bottoms). Boys may wear shorts and T-shirts. Socks are not permitted. Please note that Leotards are available to purchase at reception.
